Marvin is an adjunct faculty in the School of International Business Studies at the Temple University Japan and associate in the School of Humanities and Behavioural Science at Singapore University of Social Sciences. Marvin received his PhD from the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia. Marvin’s main research interests lie in the areas of risk management, public policy, cognitive psychology, data science and entrepreneurship. He co-leads an international project on ‘stigmergy network’. This theory investigates how autonomous acts become reproducible in domains and scalable by platforms. Marvin lives in Miyazaki, Kyushu, with his wife and three little children. They participate in many community events. Marvin’s digital marketing knowledge and skills have become the main source of local business promotion in English-speaking online platforms promoting this beautiful corner of Japan.
