Mafalda Nogueira, is currently a lecturer of Marketing and coordinator of the Marketing Management Master in IPAM - Portuguese Institute of Marketing Administration, Porto (Portugal). She holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, a Master in Marketing from the University of Porto, and a PhD in Marketing from Lancaster University.
Having started her professional life in 2000, as a business consultant for a Swedish multinational, she embarked on the path of research and teaching in 2006, having spent the last 16 years engaging in visiting professorship roles in several higher education institutions namely at Lancaster University, London School of Design and Marketing, Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology, Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique.
Her research interests are fundamentally focused on the relevance of marketing for good, having participated in projects that genuinely seek to create knowledge about social marketing, sustainability and social responsibility and socially responsible consumer behaviour. Her work has been published in different academic journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Food Products Marketing, Journal of Nonprofit & Public-Sector Marketing, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Journal of Consumer Behavior.
