Sandra Gomes, has been a lecturer in Higher education institutions since 1996. Degree in Sociology from Universidade of Porto, Master in Organizational Sociology from ISCTE, Lisbon, and a PhD in Business Sciences from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Madrid. She has been part of the Panel of Expert Reviewers of the Health Literacy Library of the Portuguese Ministry of Health, since 2017. Former (PI) coordinator of three funded research projects related to social marketing, two by EQUAL and one by World Health Organization: Portuguese consumer attitudes towards food labelling (WHO, 2017); Responsibility: investors in diversity (EQUAL, 2004-2008); and Markth!nk: Investors in special people, a social marketing program to improve people of disability integration in companies( EQUAL, (2001-2004). Main areas of research are social marketing, sustainability and social responsibility and socially responsible consumer behaviour. Her work has been published in different academic journals, such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Food Products Marketing, Journal of Nonprofit & Public-Sector Marketing.
